Starter - Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Remove the battery positive cable connector eyelet (2) from the solenoid battery terminal stud.

4. Disconnect the battery positive cable connector (1) from the solenoid terminal connector receptacle.

5. Remove the two starter bolts (4).

6. Move the starter (3) motor towards the front of vehicle far enough for the nose of the starter pinion housing to clear the housing.

7. Remove the starter motor.
