Left Axle Shaft Seal - Installation

INSTALLATION

Special Tools:











1. Wipe axle shaft tube bore clean.

2. Install axle shaft and verify axle shaft snap ring is seated in side gear.

3. Install new axle shaft seal with (10400) and (C-4171) (1).





4. Install new oil slinger (1) with (L-4507)(2).
.





5. Install new o-ring (1) and snap ring (2) on axle shaft (3).

6. Install half shaft Installation

7. Verify differential fluid level and add fluid if necessary.
