Sliding Backlite - Removal

REMOVAL

MANUAL





1. Slide the upper run channel (1) out of the window frame (2).

2. Slide the vent glass upward to remove from the lower window frame.

3. Lower the glass out of the upper window frame and remove.

Power

CREW/QUAD CAB






1. Open the center glass approximately 5 cm (2 in.).
2. Remove the rear seats.
3. Disconnect the electric backlite flexible ribbon connector (1).
4. Release the adhesive attaching the cover (4) to the backlite frame and separate the cover (4).





5. Slide the upper run channel (1) out of the window frame (2).

6. Separate the cable housing block from the lower left glass run channel and disconnect the left side cable from the glass.

7. Slide the vent glass (3) upward to remove from the lower window frame.

8. Lower the glass (3) out of the upper window frame (2) and remove.

9. Disconnect the right side cable and remove the glass.

MEGA CAB






1. Open the center glass approximately 5 cm (2 in.).
2. Tumble the rear seat assembly into the full down position.

3. Disconnect the electric backlite flexible ribbon connector (1).
4. Release the adhesive attaching the cover (4) to the backlite frame and separate the cover (4).





5. Slide the upper run channel (1) out of the window frame (2).

6. Separate the cable housing block from the lower left glass run channel and disconnect the left side cable from the glass.

7. Slide the vent glass (3) upward to remove from the lower window frame.

8. Lower the glass (3) out of the upper window frame (2) and remove.

9. Disconnect the right side cable and remove the glass.
