Radio Repair or Exchange Program

1. When the cause of the trouble is definitely traced to the radio receiver, remove the radio from the car (except Mopar identified radios - refer to 800 numbers).

2. The radio must be accompanied by a properly completed Equipment Manufacturer's Claim Request. Describe owner's complaint in some detail to assist Service Center diagnosis. (Example: Excessive station fading in city on strong stations, radio does not operate on AM, etc.). Be as specific as possible.

3. The malfunctioning radio chassis should be brought to, or packed in a suitable shipping carton, and addressed to your nearest Authorized Service Center (see attached list).

IMPORTANT: DO NOT RETURN RADIO KNOBS AND MOUNTING PARTS. THESE SHOULD BE RETAINED BY THE DEALER TO BE REINSTALLED IN THE CAR.

4. The return should be forwarded via transportation prepaid (UPS) and the package must be insured for the minimum dealer net value established for that particular radio.

5. The radio service or repair center, upon receipt of a Mopar or Mitsubishi manufactured radio from the automobile dealer, will exchange or repair the defective radio as applicable and immediately ship to the dealer the exchanged or repaired radio, transportation paid.

6. Prepaid transportation and insurance receipts must be retained by the dealer and the prepaid freight expense submitted, using Labor Operation No. 95-30-00-45, Electronic Component Freight and Insurance, in the sublet area of the repair claim.
