5B Checking Ignition Coil Wire

1. Disconnect ignition coil wire from distributor cap and coil.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals of ignition coil wire.
3. If ohmmeter reads 250---600 ohms per inch or 3,000---7,200 ohms per foot, proceed to Test 6.
4. If ohmmeter readings are not within above specified limits, replace ignition coil wire.
