Fuel Tank Draining Procedure

FUEL TANK DRAINING PROCEDURE
1. Remove fuel filler cap and perform fuel system pressure release. Service and Repair
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Raise vehicle on hoist.






4. Remove drain tube rubber cap located on cross-member in front of the fuel tank and connect either a portable holding tank or a siphon hose to drain tube.
5. Drain fuel tank dry into holding tank or a properly labeled "gasoline" safety container.
