18 No Start Verification

Perform No Start Test 11, before proceeding.
1. Reconnect and reassemble all previously tested components.
2. Diagnostic readout box sill connected to engine harness connector.
3. If SMEC was replaced, record EMR mileage from odometer to SMEC memory as outlined previously.
4. Erase all faults from diagnostic readout box.
5. Attempt to start engine.
6. If engine starts, but diagnostic readout box shows ``Low Engine Temp'' recorded fault, replace coolant thermostat.
7. If engine starts and diagnostic readout box shows no ``Low Engine Temp'' recorded fault, repair is complete.
8. If engine does not start, repair is not complete and return to Test 1.
