California Emissions Recall # 588 -- EGR Backpressure Transducer and Ignition Timing
MODELS:
1990 Model Year Dodge Ram Pickup and Ramcharger (AD-Body); and Ram Van/Wagon (AB-Body) Vehicles Equipped With a 5.2L or 5.9L Engine and California Emission Control System
Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) levels for the listed model vehicles may exceed the limits allowed by California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards. To correct the condition the EGR backpressure transducer must be replaced and the ignition timing must be reset.
