Second Rear Seat Assembly

REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
1. Lift the release latch handle on both sides until the front of the seat assembly is released from the floor pan strikers.
2. Tilt the seat rearward.
3. With the aid of an assistant remove the seat from the vehicle.
4. Reverse this procedure to install and be sure to close the release latches completely.

SECOND REAR SEAT ADJUSTER
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the seat riser cover and the front adjuster cover.
3. Remove the four nuts that hold the adjuster assembly to the spring assembly frame.
4. Remove the adjuster cable.
5. Reverse this procedure to install and torque the adjuster to spring assembly frame nuts to 95 Nm (70 Ft. Lbs.).


SECOND REAR SEAT BACK RELEASE MECHANISM
Any repair to the seat back internal linkage must start with the removal of the rear seat back shield.

Second Rear Seat Assembly:

1. Remove seatback release handle.
2. Remove four screws, and take the rear seat back shield off.
3. Make the necessary repairs and then try the seat back release mechanism for proper operation.
4. Install the rear seat back shield.

SECOND REAR SEAT BACK
1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Fold the seat back forward.
3. Remove the hinge arm covers.
4. Remove both seat back pivot bolts.
5. Remove the seat back assembly.
6. Reverse this procedure to install.
