Fuel Tank Draining Procedure

FUEL TANK DRAINING PROCEDURE
1. Remove fuel filler cap and perform Fuel System Pressure Release procedure. Service and Repair
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Raise vehicle on hoist.
4. Remove drain tube rubber cap, located on left rail and connect a portable holding tank to the drain tube.
5. Drain fuel tank dry into holding tank or a properly labeled gasoline safety container.
