Tire Inflation Pressures for High Speed Operation
For sustained driving over 100 km/h (65 mph) with truck type tires, cold inflation pressure must be increased 69 kPa (10 psi).If increased tire pressure is used for both high operation and special operating conditions, DO NOT exceed 69 kPa (10 psi) over the maximum inflation pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.
Truck type tires are not recommended for use at speeds over 135 km/h (85 mph). For emergency vehicles driven at speed over 144km/h (90 psi) special high-speed tires must be used.
WARNING: Over inflated tires can affect vehicle handling. A tire can fail suddenly resulting in loss of vehicle control.
