Programming and Relearning

STANDARD PROCEDURE - RKE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING
To program the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter access codes into the RKE receiver in the high-line or premium Central Timer Module (CTM) requires the use of a DRB III scan tool. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Place transmission in the Park position.
3. Ensure Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) is in Disarm Mode.
4. With the DRB III (R), select MISCELLANEOUS, PROGRAM RKE.
If the message BCM IS IN PROGRAMMING MODE does not appear, exit and select PROGRAM RKE again.
5. Follow the instruction on the DRB III screen.
Programming Mode will last for 30 seconds.
6. To get out of Programming Mode press PAGE BACK.
7. Lock and Unlock the vehicle using the transmitter.

If the RKE System does not operatie properly, refer to diagnostics.
