Seat Back - Disassembly



DISASSEMBLY

60/40 Seat Back-60






1. Remove the rear 60% seat back.

2. Separate the remaining seat back cover retainers (1,3).







3. Remove the seat belt trim from the top of the seat cushion.







4. Remove the one hog ring securing the cushion and cover assembly to the seat back frame.

5. Position the cushion and cover assembly aside and using a soft hammer or equivalent (3), remove the headrest sleeves (2).

6. Remove the cushion and cover assembly from the seat back frame.

7. Position the seat cover to expose the hog rings and cut off all hog rings to separate the cover from the cushion.







8. Remove the bolt retaining the seat belt assembly from the seat back frame.

60/40 Seat Back-40







1. Remove the 40 seat back assembly.

2. Using trim tool C-4829A or equivalent, remove the two lower push pin fasteners (4).

3. Using trim tool C-4829A or equivalent, separate the six push pin fasteners (3) and remove the seat back panel (2).






4. Separate the seat back cover retainers (3).






5. Remove the bolts (1) and separate the hinge assembly from the seat back frame.






6. Separate the remaining cover retainers (1, 2, 3, and 4).







7. Position the cushion and cover assembly aside and using a soft hammer or equivalent (3), remove the headrest sleeves (2).

8. Remove the cushion and cover assembly from the seat back frame.

9. Position the seat cover to expose the hog rings and cut off all hog rings to separate the cover from the cushion.
