REMOVAL





1. Remove the defroster grille, Defroster Grille - Removal.
2. Remove the A-pillar trim molding from the side of the vehicle being serviced, A-Pillar Trim Panel-Removal.
3. Remove the screw (1) that secures the top of the air outlet (2) to the instrument panel (4).
4. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent (3), gently pry the lower portion of the air outlet rearward to disengage the two metal retaining clips from the instrument panel and remove the outlet.
5. If required, carefully disengage the plastic retaining tabs that secure the air outlet grille to the back of air outlet and remove the grille from the outlet.
