Single Pane Sunroof - Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: After installation the sunroof motor will need to be re initialized.

NOTE: Refer to the Single Pane Sunroof - Description for exploded view and call outs.





1. Verify that glass panel (1) is fully closed.
2. With the help of an assistant, through the open liftgate area, place sunroof assembly in vehicle.
3. Locate the alignment holes along the sides of the module assembly and position the holes so that they line up with the holes located in the roof top support brackets.
4. Raise sunroof module assembly and guide it carefully into position.
5. While supporting the sunroof assembly Install the attaching fasteners to 9 Nm. (80 in. lb. )
6. Connect the electrical connector.
7. Connect the drain tubes to the sunroof,Single Pane Sunroof Drain Tube - Installation
8. Connect the battery negative cable.
9. Tighten glass panel fasteners,Single Pane Sunroof Glass - Installation
10. Install mechanism covers,Single Pane Sunroof Mechanism Cover - Installation
11. Test sunroof operation, adjust if necessary,Adjustments.
12. Install the headliner, Headliner - Installation.
13. Initialize sunroof motor, Testing and Inspection
