Fast Idle Cam Position

Fig. 4 Adjusting fast idle cam position:

1. With fast idle speed adjusting screw contacting second highest speed step on fast idle cam, move choke valve toward closed position with light pressure on choke shaft lever.
2. Measure by inserting .06 inch gauge in center area between choke valve and air horn wall, Fig. 4.
3. Adjust by opening or closing U-bend in fast idle connector link until correct valve opening has been obtained.
