This front suspension incorporates two transverse torsion bars which react on the outboard end of the lower control arms. The torsion bars are anchored in the front crossmember opposite the affected wheel. The torsion bars are mounted parallel to the front crossmember through a "Pivot Cushion Bushing," attached to the crossmember, and turns and extends rearward to the lower control arm. The torsion bar ends are provided with an isolated bushing, bolted to the lower control arm and sway bar, which acts as the lower control arm strut.
Riding height is controlled by the torsion bar adjusting bolts on the anchor end of the torsion bar. The right torsion bar is adjusted from the left side and the left torsion bar is adjusted from the right side.
The torsion bar assembly incorporates the "Pivot Cushion Bushing," and "Bushing to Lower Control Arm." The lower control arm inner ends are bolted to the crossmember and pivots through bushings.
Caster and camber settings are made by loosening the upper control arm pivot bar bolt nuts and adjusting as necessary.
