B. Install Vacuum Harness

1. Remove the fresh air duct connecting the ESA module and the air cleaner housing.





2. Locate and cut the vacuum hose running from the tee connector to the EGR valve as shown in Figure 2.





3. Insert the tee on the supplied harness into the cut ends of the hose (Figure 3).





4. Locate the existing tee in the vacuum line to the ESA module. Remove and save the cap (Figure 4).





5. Connect the vacuum hose leading from the supplied vacuum switch to the open port on the tee (Figure 5).





6. Locate the vacuum hose connecting the [1][2]air switching valve and the vacuum bleed (Figure 6).





7. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum bleed and connect it to the delay valve of the supplied harness. Place the cap which was saved in Step B4 over the open port on the vacuum bleed (Figure 7).


8. Reinstall the fresh air duct.
