Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Service and Repair

The crankcase ventilation system should be inspected at 12,500 mile intervals, and cleaned of accumulated sludge deposits, using a suitable parts solvent. Cracked or damaged hoses should be replaced, and all connections checked for tightness.
