Axle Drive Shaft Seal - Installation

INSTALLATION

Special Tools:










1. Clean axle shaft seal bores
2. Install the left side axle seal using Seal Installer (8110) (2) and (C-4171)(1).
3. Tap seal into position until seated against transaxle case.





4. Install the right side axle seal using Seal Installer (8110) (2) and Handle (1).
5. Tap seal into position until seated against transaxle case.
6. Install axle shaft.
7. Check transaxle fluid level and adjust as necessary Service and Repair.
