Headrest - Removal





REMOVAL






NOTE: Front seat shown, rear seat typical.

1. Remove the head restraint (1) from the seat back. Press the release tab on the two head restraint sleeves (2 and 3) and pull the head restraint straight upward.

FRONT SEAT RESTRAINT SLEEVES





NOTE: Typical front seat back and head restraint sleeves shown.

1. Remove the head restraint from the vehicle.
2. Unzip the rear of the seat back cover to gain access to the head restraint sleeves (1).
3. Using a small flat bladed tool (4) or equivalent, release the head restraint sleeve retaining tabs through the openings (2) in the seat back frame.
4. Using a soft hammer (3) or equivalent, remove the head restraint sleeves.

REAR SEAT RESTRAINT SLEEVES





CAUTION: Take great care not to damage the seat cover.

1. Remove the headrest.
2. Press the retaining tooth using a suitable tool and remove the sleeve (1) pushing it upward.
