Front Seat - Installation






INSTALLATION






NOTE: Base model shown, other models typical unless noted.

NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side typical unless noted.

1. Position the seat into the vehicle.





2. Connect the wiring harness connectors.
3. Install the seat to floor bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 24 N-m (18 ft. lbs.).





4. Passenger side seats, install the harness cover (2) by aligning and pushing in the retaining pins (1).





5. Position the seat forward.
6. Install the seat to floor bolts (1, 2) located in the rear area of the front seat. Tighten the bolts to 24 N-m (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Do not reconnect the battery negative cable at this time. The occupant classification module system verification test procedure should be performed following service of any supplemental restraint system component. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
