Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM)

VEHICLE TRACKING MODULE (VTM)





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel cover (1) Instrument Panel Cover - Removal.





3. Remove the Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM) nut (1) to evaporator.
4. Remove the VTM bracket retainer (2) to the instrument panel support brace.
5. Rotate the VTM to disconnect the VTM electrical connector (3).
6. Remove the VTM (4) from the vehicle.





7. Remove the VTM (1) mounting bracket retainers (2) and separate the VTM from the bracket.

NOTE: If replacing the VTM BACKUP BATTERY or the SUBSCRIBER IDENTIFICATION MODULE (SIM) CARD Vehicle Tracking Module - Removal.
