Rear Hub And Bearing - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Slide the hub and bearing (4) onto the spindle (5).
2. Install a washer (2) and a NEW hub nut (1) on the spindle. Tighten the nut to 280 Nm (207 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the brake rotor (3) and caliper assembly (6). Install and tighten the caliper adapter mounting bolts (7) to 57 Nm (42 ft. lbs.) Brake Rotor - Installation.





4. Install the hub and bearing dust cap (2).
5. Install rotor mounting pins (1) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.).





6. Install tire and wheel assembly Tires And Wheels - Installation.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Pump the brake pedal several times to ensure the vehicle has a firm brake pedal before moving the vehicle.
