Gearshift Control Cable - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install cable assembly through floor pan opening.
2. Route the cable assembly into engine compartment and over transaxle assembly.
3. Raise the vehicle.
4. Install the cable assembly grommet into the opening in the floor pan, seat the grommet completely.
5. Reposition the underbody heat shield.
6. Install the cable to the bracket and install the clip (1).





7. Install the cable to the bracket and install the clip (1).

8. Lower the vehicle.





9. Install the cable to the bracket and install the clip (1).





10. Connect the shifter cable to the shift lever.





11. Connect the shifter selector cable to the selector lever.

12. install the battery tray assembly Battery Tray - Installation.




13. install the horse shoe reinforcement bracket, tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
14. install the shifter Service and Repair.
