Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

F-100---350 & BRONCO
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove radio knobs and discs from control shafts.
3. Remove cluster bezel attaching screws or nuts and the cluster bezel.
4. On 1982---87 models, remove radio mounting plate-to-instrument panel attaching screws and slide radio out of panel.
5. On all models, disconnect power, speaker and antenna leads from radio.
6. Remove radio rear support attaching bolt from lower edge of instrument panel.
7. Remove nuts and washers from control shafts.
8. On 1982---87 models, remove radio front mounting plate.
9. On all models, remove radio from vehicle.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
