LIGHT TRUCK: 1983-88 E SERIES, F SERIES




ISSUE: The notation "From Coolant Temperature Sensor (Ground)" shown in Figure 24 of the Glow Plug System Diagnostic Test Points in the 1983 through 1988 Engine/Emission Diagnosis Manuals, Volume H, Section 24-26 is incorrect as published. If the coolant temperature sensor is grounded during glow plug testing, the controller could be damaged.

ACTION: If service is required, use the diagnostic information on page 43 of this TSB. This information should be inserted in your 1983 through 1988 Engine/Emission Diagnosis Manuals, Volume H.
