Rear brake squeal can be corrected by repiecing the existing riveted rear brake shoe and lining assemblies with service bonded rear brake shoe and lining assemblies. Prior to reassembly, the rear brake drums should be deglazed/sanded. These bonded shoe and lining assemblies should be used on a rear brake squeal concern only. Normal rear brake shoe and lining replacement should use the riveted shoes and lining assemblies until service stock is exhausted.
