Interval Wipers
LOW SPEED TEST1. Turn ignition switch on and turn wiper switch to low position.
2. Check for voltage at circuit 61 pin (yellow wire) at wiper motor connector.
3. If motor does not run, electrically ground circuit 56 (blue/orange wire).
4. If motor runs with circuit 56 grounded, repair wiper switch ground circuit or replace wiper switch.
5. If motor does not run with circuit 56 grounded, replace motor.
6. If there is no voltage at circuit 61 and circuit breaker is providing voltage, ground control circuits at wiper switch.
7. If there is no voltage at circuit 61 with control circuits grounded, replace governor.
8. If there is voltage at circuit 61 with control circuits grounded, replace wiper switch.
HIGH SPEED TEST
To test high speed circuit, refer to ``Low Speed Test,'' using circuit 58 (white wire) instead of circuit 56.
PARK OPERATION TEST
1. Turn ignition switch on and turn wiper switch off.
2. Check for voltage at circuit 61 pin (yellow wire).
3. If there is voltage but wipers do not park, ground wiper motor case to body. If wipers park, repair ground. If motor does not run, replace motor.
4. If there is voltage at circuits 65 (green wire) and 63 (red wire) pins, but not at circuit 61 pin, replace governor.
5. If there is voltage at 65 pin, but not at 63 pin, repair motor park switch.
6. If there is no voltage at 65 pin, trace circuit back to current source.
