Electrical System

The electrical system that supports the air bag Supplemental Restraint System (SRS):
^ is powered directly from the battery.
^ can function with the ignition switch in any position, including OFF and LOCK.
^ can function when the front seat is unoccupied.
^ detects impacts.
^ supplies electrical power to the igniters.
^ monitors the system to determine system readiness.
