Captain's Chair

DISASSEMBLY
1. If equipped, remove the seat regulator control switch.






2. Remove the front seat track.
1 Remove the four bolts.
2 Remove the front seat track.

NOTE: Manual seat shown, power seat similar.






3. Remove the armrest cable nut.
1 Lift the back inboard comer of the front seat cushion cover.
2 Remove the armrest cable nut.






4. Remove the armrest bolt.
1 Unhook the armrest cover.
2 Remove the armrest bolt.






5. On the inboard side, feed the armrest cable through the front seat back and remove the armrest.
6. Remove the front seat safety belt buckle.






7. Remove the front seat back latch handle knob.






8. If equipped, remove the front seat back pad adjuster.
1 Remove the two screws.
2 Remove the front seat back pad adjuster.






9. Remove the outboard front seat adjuster from the front seat cushion frame.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the front seat adjuster.






10. Pull the front seat back frame away from the inboard front seat hinge and feed the lumbar support gear through the seat cushion opening to remove the front seat back.


NOTE: Do not damage the plastic pivot bushing when removing the seat back frame.

ASSEMBLY






1. Feed the lumbar support gear through the seat cushion opening and push the seat back frame into the front seat hinge.

NOTE: Inspect the seat back pivot bushing and replace if damaged.






2. Connect the outboard front seat hinge to the front seat cushion frame.
1 Position the front seat hinge.
2 Install the bolts.






3. Install the front seat back pad adjuster.
1 Position the front seat back pad adjuster.
2 Install the two screws.






4. Install the front seat back latch handle knob.
5. Install the front seat safety belt buckle.






6. If necessary, install the armrest cable guide spacer.






7. Feed the armrest cable through the front seat back.






8. Install the armrest.
1 Position the armrest.
2 Install the bolt.






9. Install the armrest cable nut.
1 Position the armrest cable.
2 Install the armrest cable nut.

NOTE: The armrest cable nut is used to adjust the position of the armrest.






10. Install the front seat track.
1 Position the front seat track.
2 Install the four bolts.

NOTE: Manual seat shown, power seat similar.

11. If equipped, install the seat regulator control switch.
