Under Seat Storage Drawer

DISASSEMBLY

WARNING:
^ THE BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY PRETENSIONER IS A PYROTECHNIC DEVICE. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN SERVICING AN AIR BAG-EQUIPPED VEHICLE AND WHEN HANDLING A BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY PRETENSIONER.
^ THE BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY PRETENSIONER IS A PYROTECHNIC DEVICE. NEVER PROBE THE CONNECTORS ON THE BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY PRETENSIONER. DOING SO CAN RESULT IN BELT AND BUCKLE ASSEMBLY PRETENSIONER OR AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT AND CAN RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.
^ TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY, THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE REPAIRING OR REPLACING ANY AIR BAG SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS. TO DEPLETE THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY GROUND CABLE AND WAIT ONE MINUTE. BE SURE TO DISCONNECT AUXILIARY BATTERIES AND POWER SUPPLIES (IF SO EQUIPPED).

NOTE:
^ Be sure to disconnect auxiliary batteries and power supplies (if so equipped).
^ The seat does not need to be removed in order to remove the storage drawer, only to remove the drawer housing.







1. Remove the underseat storage drawer.
1. Open the under seat storage drawer.
2. Press up on the plastic release tab by hand and pull the under seat storage drawer from the passenger under seat storage housing.
2. Remove the front seat support.

NOTE: Use these steps to remove the passenger under seat storage housing.







3. Remove the screws.







4. Remove the passenger under seat storage housing from the seat support.

ASSEMBLY







1. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
