Front
Removal1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the front stabilizer bar.
4. CAUTION: The axle must be supported throughout the procedure to prevent strain on the front brake hose. If the disc brake caliper must be removed for additional clearance, refer to Brakes and Traction Control.
Use a suitable jack to support the affected front axle.
5. Disconnect the shock absorber from the radius arm.
1. Remove the lower shock absorber nut.
2. Disconnect the lower end of the shock absorber.
6. Remove the bolt and the upper spring retainer.
7. Lower the jack supporting the front axle and remove the front coil spring.
Installation
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
