Test Q: LFC 47/DTC B1232 - Passenger Belt and Buckle Assembly Pretensioner Circuit Resistance Out of Range

Q1 - Q2:

Q3 - Q4:

Normal Operation
The air bag Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) monitors the resistance of the passenger belt and buckle assembly pretensioner circuit by measuring the resistance between Pins C200-26 and C200-27. If the ECS detects low or high resistance, the ECS will store Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1232 in memory and flash Lamp Fault Code (LFC) 47 (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.

Possible Causes
^ Damaged wiring on Circuit 1081 (Y/R) or 1082 (Y/BK).
^ Damaged passenger belt and buckle assembly pretensioner.
