The upper portion of the Vehicle Certification (VC) label contains the manufacturer's name, the month and year of manufacture, the certification statement and the VIN. It also includes Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR). The VC label is located on the left-hand front door jamb.

The radio type codes are:
^ 7 - AM/FM electronic stereo with clock
^ Z - AM/FM electronic stereo with clock and Compact Disc (CD) player
^ K - Premium AM/FM electronic stereo with clock, cassette and compact disc (CD) player
^ A - AM/FM electronic stereo with clock, cassette and compact disc (CD) changer
^ 2 - Midline AM/FM stereo with cassette
^ 3 - Midline AM/FM stereo with compact disc (CD) player
^ 4 - Lowline AM/FM stereo with clock and cassette
^ 5 - Midline AM/FM stereo with clock and cassette
^ 6 - AM/FM stereo with clock, cassette and compact disc (CD) player
^ 8 - AM/FM stereo with clock and compact disc (CD) player
^ Y - Delete radio
