ISSUE
Some 2004 E-Series vehicles equipped with a 5.4L engine may exhibit the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0172 and/or P0175 and no driveability symptoms.
ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B39.9 or higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
