HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL LINES - MIDREMOVAL
1. Carry out the Pressure Relief - Fuel Tube Venting procedure.
2. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel tube from the fuel coalescer.
3. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel tube from the rear high-pressure fuel tube and the fuel line position retainer.
4. Disconnect the high-pressure fuel tube from the fuel filler valve high-pressure fuel tube and the fuel line position retainer.
INSTALLATION
1. NOTE:
- Install new fuel tube O-ring seals.
- Lubricate the fuel tube O-ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installation.
- When tightening the fuel tubes, a torque wrench adapter must be used with the torque wrench. The use of a torque wrench adapter will alter the effective torque of the wrench being used. To correct the effective torque, a torque multiplication conversion must be used.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
