Pinpoint Test G: DTC P0833 - Clutch Pedal Switch B Circuit

Normal Operation

The clutch pedal position (CPP) switch, normally closed, supplies a ground signal through circuit 306 (TN/LB) for the powertrain control module (PCM) when the clutch pedal is disengaged. When the clutch is engaged the ground is removed and the speed control is deactivated. Ground for the CPP is supplied by circuit 570 (BK/WH).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 306 (TN/LB) open, short to ground
- Circuit 570 (BK/WH) open
- CPP switch
- PCM
