PINPOINT TEST A: THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS INOPERATIVE

A1-A2:

A2-A3:

Normal Operation
With the ignition switch in the START or RUN position, the instrument cluster receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 1044 (WH/YE). When the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACC position, voltage is received from the CJB through circuit 295 (LB/PK). With the ignition switch in the OFF position, the instrument cluster receives its keep-alive voltage from the CJB through circuit 729 (RD/WH). The instrument cluster grounding is through circuits 938 (BK/LG) and 57 (BK).

DTC B1360 - is a continuous memory DTC that sets if the instrument cluster detects voltage on circuit 1044 (WH/YE) for 15 seconds without voltage applied to circuit 295 (LB/PK).

Possible Causes
- Fuse(s)
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 295 (LB/PK) open
- Circuit 729 (RD/WH) open
- Circuit 938 (BK/LG) open
- Circuit 1044 (WH/YE) open
