Test H: The Wash and Wipe Function Is Inoperative - Rear Window

PINPOINT TEST H: THE WASH AND WIPE FUNCTION IS INOPERATIVE - REAR WINDOW

H1-H4:

Normal Operation
During normal operation, the rear wiper motor receives voltage at all times through smart junction box (SJB) fuse 19 (25A), circuit SBP19 (BU/RD). The windshield wiper motor also receives power with the ignition switch in RUN or ACC positions through SJB fuse 43 (5A), circuit CBP43 (GY). Ground is provided to the windshield wiper motor through circuit GD150 (BK/WH). The run/park relay is contained in the rear wiper motor electronics. Mode of operation is dependent on the signal(s) received from the multi-function switch. When the correct input is received from the multi-function switch, the rear wiper motor provides power to the washer pump through circuit CRW12 (GY/OG). Ground is provided to the washer pump through circuit CRW14 (BU/WH) and the windshield wiper motor.

Possible Causes
- Multi-function switch
- Open in circuit
- Rear window wiper motor
