Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the steering wheel control switch receives a ground from the powertrain control module (PCM) through circuit 848 (DG/OG). The electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module senses the resistance (depending on what button is pressed) from the steering wheel control switch through circuit 1069 (OG/LB).

Possible Causes
- An open in circuit 848 (DG/OG) or circuit 1069 (OG/LB)
- A short to ground or voltage in circuit 1069 (OG/LB)
- Steering wheel control switch
- EATC module
- PCM
- Clockspring
