Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector. Detach the electrical connector retainer.
2. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet pipe from the air cleaner.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

3. Lift the air cleaner from the grommets and remove the air cleaner.

4. CAUTION: The air cleaner inlet rubber grommet must be seated flush against the inner fender prior to air cleaner installation.

Remove the air cleaner inlet rubber grommet from the inner fender.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
