Test D: The Heated Mirror Does Not Defrost

PINPOINT TEST D: THE HEATED MIRROR DOES NOT DEFROST

D1-D3:

Normal Operation
The heated exterior mirror system does not have a switch, the mirror glass is heated any time the ignition is in the ON position. The heated mirror relay, which is active any time the ignition is in the ON position, supplies battery voltage to the heated exterior mirrors through circuit 59 (DG/PK). The heated exterior mirrors are grounded through circuit 57 (BK).

Possible Causes
- Open in circuits 59 (DG/PK) or 57 (BK)
- Fuse
- Damaged exterior mirror glass
