Test L: The Power Rear Window Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST L: THE POWER REAR WINDOW IS INOPERATIVENormal Operation
Under normal operation, the power rear window motor receives voltage at all times through circuit SBB10 (YE/RD). When the accessory delay relay is active, power is sent to the power rear window motor and rear window control switch through circuit CBP05 (YE). The power rear widow motor is grounded through circuits GD145 (BK/BU) and GD148 (BK/YE). The power rear window motor receives a voltage signal from the control switch through circuit CPW58 (YE/OG) during a down request and through CPW59 (VT/BN) for an up request.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse(s)
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Power rear window control switch
- Power rear window motor
- Rear window regulator
