Test L: The Rear Video Mirror Display Is Always On
PINPOINT TEST L: THE REAR VIDEO MIRROR DISPLAY IS ALWAYS ONNormal Operation
With the ignition switch in the RUN position, the video camera receives voltage through circuit 294 (WH/LB). With the gear selector in REVERSE (R) position, a reverse voltage signal is sent to the rear view mirror, enabling the system. The video signal from the video camera displays an image on the left portion of the rear view mirror display.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Interior rear view mirror
