Removal and Installation
1. Remove the door opening scuff plate trim panel.
2. Position the front seat(s) to the full forward position.
3. Position aside the door opening weatherstrip.
4. NOTE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide and cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide or cover is damaged or the cover does not remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide.
Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
1 Position the shoulder safety belt guide cover upward.
2 Remove the shoulder safety belt guide bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
3 Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
5. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
6. Remove the B-pillar trim panel.
- Route the front safety belt and the shoulder belt guide through the B-pillar trim panel.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
