Removal and Installation

1. Mark the position of the hood latch.

2. Disconnect the secondary hood latch release cable from the hood latch.
- Disconnect the cable conduit.

- Disconnect the cable.

3. Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).

4. Turn the hood latch 180 degrees and disconnect the primary hood latch release cable B from the hood latch.
- Disconnect the cable conduit.

- Disconnect the cable.





5. Remove the hood latch.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
