Exterior Rear Door Handle - Crew Cab

Removal and Installation

NOTE: The door glass must be in the raised position to remove the exterior door handle.

1. Remove the rear door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.

2. Position the water shield aside.

3. Remove the body plug.

4. Remove the 2 exterior door handle nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5. Release the exterior door handle actuating rod clip and remove the exterior rear door handle.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
