Disassembly

1. NOTE: With the exception of the bearings, the countershaft is serviced as an assembly.

NOTE: Install new bearings and cups in a set only. Do not install one without the other.

Inspect the bearings for wear or damage. Install new bearings and cups as necessary.





2. Using the 2 or 3 Jaw Puller, remove the countershaft front bearing.





Assembly

1. NOTICE: Drive the countershaft bearings onto the countershaft by the inner race only. Driving on the outer race will damage the bearing.

Install the countershaft front bearing.

- Using a suitable driver, make sure the bearing is installed against the stop.
