3.5L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) Air Cleaner (ACL) and ACL (Air Cleaner) Outlet Pipes
NOTICE: Fully seat the Air Cleaner (ACL) element into the ACL (Air Cleaner) housing. Failure to do so will result in unusual engine noise.
NOTE: Disconnect the fuel vapor management hose and the crankcase vent hose quick connect couplings from the LH ACL (Air Cleaner) pipe-to-turbocharger pipe as necessary.
NOTE: Securely seal the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe and the turbocharger pipes to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
NOTE: The ACL (Air Cleaner) housing is part of the degas bottle assembly.
3.5L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) Charge Air Cooler (CAC) and Tubes
NOTE: Disconnect the fuel vapor management hose coupling from the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) -to-Throttle Body (TB) pipe as necessary.
NOTE: Securely seal the turbocharger pipes and the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) -to-Throttle Body (TB) pipe to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine or pressurized air from escaping.
3.7L Air Cleaner (ACL) Assembly
NOTICE: Fully seat the Air Cleaner (ACL) element into the ACL (Air Cleaner) housing. Failure to do so will result in unusual engine noise.
NOTE: Disconnect the crankcase vent hose quick connect coupling from the air cleaner outlet pipe as necessary.
NOTE: Securely seal the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
NOTE: The ACL (Air Cleaner) housing is part of the degas bottle assembly.
5.0L Air Cleaner (ACL) Assembly
NOTICE: Fully seat the Air Cleaner (ACL) element into the ACL (Air Cleaner) housing. Failure to do so will result in unusual engine noise.
NOTE: Disconnect the crankcase vent hose quick connect coupling from the air cleaner outlet pipe as necessary.
NOTE: Securely seal the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
NOTE: The ACL (Air Cleaner) housing is part of the degas bottle assembly.
6.2L Air Cleaner (ACL) Assembly
NOTICE: Fully seat the Air Cleaner (ACL) element into the ACL (Air Cleaner) housing. Failure to do so will result in unusual engine noise.
NOTE: Disconnect the crankcase vent hose quick connect coupling from the resonator as necessary.
NOTE: Securely seal the ACL (Air Cleaner) outlet pipe to prevent unmetered air from entering the engine.
NOTE: The ACL (Air Cleaner) housing is part of the coolant expansion tank assembly. For additional information, refer to Cooling System &/or Engine Block Heater.
